Mission/Vision

Our mission is to engross students in a rigorous standards-based learning environment that promotes and develops essential problem solving and critical thinking skills through Mathematics, Science and Technology. Dr. Lawrence H. Moore Math Science Technology Academy will provide tiered instruction and intervention that addresses the academic, social, and emotional development of each student through equal opportunity for engagement in an enriching and collaborative learning community. Our students will engage in authentic learning experiences, which will prepare them with the necessary tools for life in the 21st century.

Using a constructivist approach, a student-centered environment will be established at Dr. Lawrence H. Moore Math Science Technology Academy. The students will culminate having mastered K-5 core standards through collaboration and project-based learning. Students will attain mastery of the content standards and apply in-depth knowledge to authentic real-world problem solving. This will prepare our students to be college-prepared and career-ready for the 21st century.
